Terms and Conditions

1. What Sport Near Me does

Sport Near Me provides a directory and workflow platform that helps parents and guardians discover sports activities and helps independent providers publish and manage their services. Sport Near Me is not the organiser, employer, coach or safeguarding authority for independent providers unless a page clearly states otherwise.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep access codes private and use only an account you are authorised to control. Parent and Provider access may share one non-administrator identity. Platform Administrator identities are separate and cannot also act as a Parent or Provider.

3. Parent and guardian responsibilities

Parents and guardians must check that an activity is suitable, provide accurate participant information, follow the provider's instructions and maintain appropriate adult responsibility. A listing, verification marker or review is not a substitute for your own checks.

4. Provider responsibilities

Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their organisation, staff, venue, session, pricing, availability, qualification, insurance and safeguarding information. Providers must keep records current, communicate material changes and comply with the Provider Responsibility Declaration.

5. Registrations, payments and cancellations

Registration status, prices, cancellation rules and refunds may be set by the provider. Where Sport Near Me processes a provider subscription or other platform payment, the price and billing interval shown at checkout apply. Payment never guarantees organic ranking, verification or favourable moderation.

6. Attendance, reviews and moderation

Verified reviews are connected to attendance records. Users must post honest, relevant content and must not publish unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading or private information. Sport Near Me may moderate, restrict or remove content and may retain an audit record of moderation actions.

7. Safeguarding

Safeguarding concerns submitted through Sport Near Me are private operational reports, not emergency services. In immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service. We may restrict listings, preserve relevant records or share information where reasonably necessary to protect people or meet legal obligations.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account, workspace, provider or listing where information is unsafe, materially inaccurate, abusive, unpaid, unlawful or inconsistent with these Terms. We will use proportionate action where practical.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or guarantee the quality, safety or outcome of an independent activity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users remain responsible for decisions made using directory information.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will record the accepted version. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Questions can be sent to support@sportnearme.co.uk.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
